Tracy Deschaine has been teaching math education at the middle level for eight years. She received a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Maine in Orono and went on to certify in middle and high school math and science. Throughout her career she has worked extensively with the University of Maine in a research program with other local educators in the field of STEM instructional methods. Currently, she is a middle level math team coach and teaches math to grades 6-8 using a co-teaching model in sixth grade with her co-presenter, Danielle Pelletier.
